Frequently asked questions
How much do you charge?
Our charges depend on the level of expertise involved and the size of the project.
Large, ongoing projects are charged at a lower rate than one-off small ones. Call us for an estimate.
Can you work with our existing graphic artist or website designer?
We frequently work with other trades to bring larger projects together.
We often work for graphic artists or web designers who need to supply copy for their client.
Do you just do writing?
While writing is our main strength, we can also handle the production of websites, brochures, newsletters, videos and other promotional items.
Can you do everything?
We can do most jobs in-house, but will use our network of trusted industry experts when required. As project managers, we will generally be your one point of contact for all inquiries and take responsibility for on-time delivery.
What if I don't like what you've written?
We do our best to please our customers and will edit or re-write until you are happy. Extensive changes to the initial scope may incur extra charges.
How do you charge?
We charge by the hour or part-hour and invoice at the end of the project or the end of the month for ongoing work. For large projects, we can charge on a daily rate.
Who is responsible for errors?
We do our very best to make sure that everything we present to you is correct but it is your responsibility to ensure we have been provided with the correct information and to approve everything before publishing.
How many people do you employ?
I'm not going to lie. The only full-time staff member is me, Roger Lacey. My wife helps me out part-time and I have a list of around twenty contractors that I call on for specialist graphic art, web design, video production, photography, voice-over, translation, additional writing and printing.
